2019 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport AWD

The Genesis G70 is one of 2018's most highly anticipated vehicles, and launches into an incredibly competitive market. How does this $57,500 compact executive sedan perform on the road? We find out! TestDrive is proud to produce our first episode on a Genesis, and as such we're spending a bit of extra time going over our full tour and review of the 2019 Genesis G70 3.3 Turbo Sport AWD. This all-new car comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.3L V6 engine producing 365 horsepower, 376 lb-ft of torque, mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission, and configured with Hyundai's HTRAC all-wheel drive system. Our full tour and review will also talk about the exterior design elements and features found on the Genesis G70, such as the adaptive LED headlights, power folding mirrors, keyless access, spring-opening trunk, and excellent 360º camera system. We'll also go over the inside of this Mollorca Blue G70's black nappa leather interior, including features like the 8" infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging, the power front seats with heat and ventilation, rear heated seats, large panoramic sunroof, and colour head-up display. We'll also take the G70 Sport on a comprehensive road test to talk about it's overall performance, ride, and handling on public roads to see how it compares with other vehicles we've driven in this segment, and how it stacks up as a daily driver. We wrap up this episode of TestDrive Spotlight on the Genesis by discussing our likes and dislikes about this car, and what our hope is for the future of this new luxury brand.
