2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature

Mazda has been improving their vehicles with each model year, and the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature is no exception. We go over what's new for 2019 and everything you need to know if you're in the market for a new mid-size crossover.

Our full tour and review of the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature goes over in depth what we covered in previous 2018 episodes on this crossover, but in a more coherent format. We discuss what's new on the CX-9 for 2019 including the added features, refinements to the steering and suspension, and updates to the engine mounts. Our coverage also shows the full features of this vehicle including our thoughts and opinions about it.

TestDrive Spotlight goes in-depth for the 2019 model year, showing the exterior features such as the front adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, new 360º camera system, new power folding mirrors, keyless entry, power rear tailgate, and small changes made for the 2019 model. We go over interior updates such as front ventilated seats, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, frameless HomeLink mirror, new 7" colour multi-information display, seatbelt occupancy sensors, and updates to the noise, vibration, and harshness or NVH of the vehicle.

We also go over the existing features of this crossover such as the heated front and rear outboard seats, heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, standard sunroof, rear window sun shades, nappa leather interior with open-pore wood trim, and much more.

We take the 2019 Mazda CX-9 Signature on a road test in light snow to talk about it's overall ride, performance, and handling, and how the AWD system works in the winter. We then wrap up our full episode of TestDrive Spotlight by discussing what we like and dislike about this three-row mid-size crossover SUV and what Mazda can do to future improve and refine this vehicle.
