2019 Buick Envision AWD Premium II

Surprisingly this is one of the most requested new vehicles for us to feature on TestDrive. We go in-depth with the facelifted 2019 Buick Envision AWD Premium II.

Our full tour and review on TestDrive Spotlight focuses on the 2019 Buick Envision AWD with the Premium II trim, Driver Assistance Package, Panoramic Sunroof, and Envision Appearance Package. Total MSRP for this compact premium crossover is $56,440.00 CAD. We go over all the important features and tech, including the fact that this is a Chinese-assembled vehicle sold in North America.

Some of the exterior features for this vehicle include bi-LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED brake lights. You also get adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, a 360º camera system, front and rear parking sensors, an easy-open rear power liftgate, panoramic sunroof, and body-mounted running boards.

On the inside we find a full leather interior with a leatherette dashboard, centre console, and door cards, along with a colour HUD, colour computer cluster, 8" Buick Infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Navigation, SiriusXM, and 4G LTE. Other features include front heated and ventilated seats, rear outboard heated seats, tri-zone climate control, two driver memory options, wireless charging, and LED interior lighting.

We take the 2019 Buick Envision AWD on a road test to talk about it's ride and comfort, and what buyers of this crossover are looking at. This isn't a performance car, so we don't do any performance testing with the 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 engine, considering the people looking at this aren't worried about 0-100km times or how well it takes a corner. This vehicle serves a unique position in GM's crossover lineup, and we focus on that.

We wrap up our episode of TestDrive Spotlight on the 2019 Buick Envision by talking fuel economy, what we liked and disliked, and what we expect to see from this vehicle moving forward.
