2019 Volvo V60 T6 Inscription AWD

It's wagon time! TestDrive takes a look back 35 years with the 1984 Volvo 240 DL and how it translates into today's all-new 2019 Volvo V60 T6 AWD Inscription.

We love wagons here on TestDrive, and we're excited to have the chance to feature two of them on our latest Retrospective episode. We met up with a local Volvo enthusiast and their 1984 Volvo 240 DL, a vehicle which was assembled in Halifax, Nova Scotia, although began it's life at Volvo's Torslanda assembly plant in Sweden, along with the 2019 Volvo V60 T6 Inscription.

Our full tour and review of the V60 Inscription starts off with a look back at one of Volvo's most iconic wagons, the 240 DL, and how it's changed over the last 35 years. We then go over the important features of the 2019 Volvo V60 such as the adaptive LED headlights, IntelliSafe, power folding mirrors, keyless entry, easy open trunk, and overall wagon design.

We jump inside the 2019 Inscription to see how the top-level trim feels. The ultra-comfortable leather seats, Sensus navigation system, 360º camera system, heated, ventilated, and power front seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, LED interior lighting with subtle mood lights, leather dashboard, and the option for a colour Head-Up Display and massaging front seats.

We then take the Twin-Charged 2.0L inline-4 T6 AWD V60 on a road test to talk about how the 316 horsepower engine performs, how the ride and road feel is, and everything else we found during our 1,000+ km week with the V60. We also talk about some of the issues we had with the V60 T6 AWD during our week, and what we hope to see as improvements.

We wrap up our episode on the 2019 Volvo V60 T6 Inscription by going over what we liked the most about this estate, what we'd change about it, and a summary of what we talked about in our episode.
