Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT vs Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio

Why would anyone compare a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT with an Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio? I guess we're just insane, just like these two SUVs.

Today on TestDrive Showdown we're looking at two performance-oriented SUVs from FCA, the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT versus the 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. One is a mid-size SUV, the other a compact luxury crossover, but together these cousin vehicles offer a lot to buyers who want space for a family and has enough power to get everyone there in the blink of an eye.

Now we understand that these two vehicles aren't likely to be cross-shopped by consumers, nor are the prices as configured close to be considered, but we feel that the Grand Cherokee SRT with the right kit can be nearly as expensive as the Italian supercar SUV, and the Alfa Romeo has the potential to start much cheaper if you skip on some of the pricey options.

We go over the exterior and interior differences between these two vehicles, including length, width, height, weight, headroom, legroom, and engine performance. We then take both the SRT and Quadrifoglio on a 0-100km (0-60 kph) drag test to see which is the fastest, followed by some real-world driving.
