2020 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Full Tour & Review

Are you tired of crossovers? Do you want something that drives like a car but fits 8 people and cargo? Then you, my friend, need a Minivan!

It might seem a little silly to book the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Touring so late into the year, especially since the 2021 Pacifica with the facelift, AWD functionality, and Pinnacle luxury trim were announced almost a full year ago, but there's still some serious value with this minivan. Chrysler has decided that the Dodge Grand Caravan needed to die (press F to pay respect) and has replaced it in the USA with the Voyager nameplate, a slightly less-equipped and more affordable Pacifica.

Here in Canada FCA felt the Grand Caravan nameplate had more value, so we're getting a 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan SXT and base model. When the 2021 Pacifica hits dealers, buyers will be greeted with a new front & rear design, updated interior including Uconnect 5, and a new top-end trim. Following suit with what the tech industry does when a new flagship device launches, Chrysler is keeping the old Pacifica design on as their entry-level minivan under the Voyager and Grand Caravan nameplate.

Now it makes sense since they'll look different from the new Pacifica. Our Touring is the mid-market trim in Canada, coming with halogen headlights, halogen premium fog lights, floor mats, HomeLink, power side doors, power liftgate, LED Interior lighting, cloth seats, and LED tail lights. Ours has several options including the SafetyTec group, Mopar all-weather floor liners, 8-passenger seating, and Uconnect 4 8" with navigation, SiriusXM, and a backup camera.

We go over the engine specifications for the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica Touring, how it fits compared to the Limited and Limited Hybrid we drove before, and how the new Chrysler Voyager and Chrysler Grand Caravan will fit into the mix. We then take the Pacifica Touring on a real-world road test to talk about how this minivan performs, handles, and drives on the road, and our fuel economy testing for this vehicle.
